-----------------Advanced Guide for Beginning Labbers V4.-------------- Created by Chris Farley, A.K.A. Xaldin, Xemnas. Welcome and thank you for reading the Advanced Guide for Begginner Labbers. This guide was created and edited for the use of newbie labbers and people who need a quick resource incase they forgot somthing. This guide therefore is copyrighted and should be reposted elsewhere only with permission from me. Once you manage to get into the lab you will arrive at your first gate. The lab is full of puzzel's, traps, tricks, and enemies that it will make for a heck of a ride. There are 13 gates that make up the lab. Gate 1 is first and every gate after that one is random. However, gate 13 is last once all other gates are done. Once you complete that gate, youll arrive to the Nexus. This place is where you pray for your Ancient Race. but a few things to go over before you start your adventure... *Enter the lab with only the things you need, like money, and certain eq, as once you finish the lab, you will loose EVERYTHING on your char, accept your gold, bonus time and your clantag.Remember the idea behind lab is to re-create a charicter as an Ancient Race, so its like making a new char all over again, but its even better this time around. *Bring in at least 150k-200k gold, so you have a safe amount incase you die a few times, or you need to buy things off of the auction channel. *you cannot drop anything on the ground in lab, i dont know why this is so, it just is. (dropping gold on the ground is acceptable though) *you cannot use the auction channel to sell anything once your in the lab, as the lab eq is legendary and not for use outside of it. but you can buy things off of the channel if need be. *becuase you cannot RENT becuase of the lack of an Inn, you have a new command called CAMP. camp does exactly what rent does, but has another cost to use. you can CAMP Anywhere you wish, but you must be at least half of your hp, moves mana to be able to camp. camping lets you resume from that exact point the next time you wish to resume the lab. like items you cannot rent with at an Inn you cant camp with either (meaning keys, potions, such of those with !rent on there id's (if you droplink in lab, you will be force camped after 30 mins, and you may reset the gate your in that way as well) *when you die in lab, you will go back to the begginning of a previously completed gate, (the gate youll get will be random) and loose the soulstone of the gate you land in, meaning youll have to do it all over again. *if you die and return to gate 1 or just die in gate 1 you will loose 10% of all your gold, otherwise, if you die in anyother gate, you will loose nothing but the soulstone of that gate. *when you die, you will regen all of your Hp's, but still retain the same amount of mana and moves. *get your align to its max best. so if your evil then -1000 align, or good then +1000 align, as this will get you the best regen and no lords wanting to smite you becuase of bad align. *all lab mobs are of Neutral align so there is no align fixing once you enter at all. so no matter who you kill your align will never change. *you must have over +100,000 gold on your charicter when your in lab, or else if you die, you will be ejected from the lab. (also, any lab eq you obtained will be lost, so as a side note, dont put anything into a lab container or else it goes away with the container.) *three invisible enemies in lab will randomly appear in any gate. only 1 of the three invis enemies wil give off a message when there doing somthing to you. Otherwise you will have to pay attention to your hp and mana to figure out if there being drained. they seldom appear and are easy to kill. -Mage bane is a mana stealer. if you notice your mana dissapearing for no reason, be quick to finish it off. -Stirge is a vampire. it will eat your hp untill you die, so kill it fast. -Filtcher is a thief. it will steal your gold and eventually you will get a message like this: You discover the erithreal filther has his hands in your wallet!(or i think thats the message) kill him and loot his corpse for all the gold it took from you. *Soulgiving a soulstone Restores you back to full hp/mana/moves *there are 6 Requierd abilities for lab, as certain gates may prove Very difficult/impossible otherwise. -Feather fall -Breath water -No Summon -Free action -Protection From Cold (defense elements of air/water equal 110) -Protection From Heat (defense elements of earth/fire equal 110) *Player killing is allowed in the Lab. if you manage to kill another player in the lab, you will gain one of there soulstones and they will go back to another random gate. the soulstone you get will be random and this means whichever gate the soulstone was from, you wont have to do that gate. *if your in the same gate as another person, teamwork may prove more sufficient then killing eachother as it may help speed up a gate by alot of time. *typing Soulstone will bring up a list of gates and soulstones you have and have not collected or done. Lastly you will notice what is called the Egress. This is your Exit from the lab. Each gate has one. If you exit lab you must first remove and junk all of your lab eq and also remember: Once you leave if you decide to return, you will have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. The gates are listed in numerical order, so scroll to the desierd gate that you need help with. ---------------------------------Gate 1---------------------------------- Objectives: -kill viper -kill Tigerman Chief -Kill Wolfen Paramiters: there is a spot just north of the wounded patryn guard that is considerd as the River Anger. if you walk into this, it will kill you with unlimited APR (so basically its 1 hit kill, and you cant kill it, as it is a prog) special abilities requierd: No Summon items found in gate: Satchel of eldilork skin on tigerman(container) Claw on Tigerman Chief Soulstone on Wolfen* First thing to know is that Egress is a Safe/!vio room/!mag room. This gate is home to many Tigerman and Eldikorks. They are easy to run into and can get annoying. First thing to do is to get aquainted with how this gate works as you'll notice when you move around, you will end up in completly different rooms. These are called "Spin Rooms", as they give off a mirror like effect. So when you enter these, you will random up in another room. To counter this, just learn the layout of the gate, so you dont get lost. Your first target is the Viper and he is 3e1n from the egress. He will kill anything in 1 hit if they enter his room, so use this to your advantage. He will use Venom and try to blind you each time you enter his room. once he dies, go back to the egress and go n2w4nenwn through the forest under a tall tree. This is the spot below your next target known as the Tigerman Chief. when you enter his room he will see you worthy to fight. He may Still and use Nature's Fury on you from time to time. When he dies, grab the Claw off his corpse and return to the egress. Now go 3n1w1n and you will see the Wounded Paytron. give him the Claw and he will remove the River Anger that is 1n from him. then follow the path north into another large area. your final target, the Wolfen, stalks this place. more tigerman and eldikorks also span this area as well. The Wolfen will summon you once you flee from him during the fight, so have !sum eq ready. he will also scan hunt you too. once he dies loot his corpse for the soulstone. ----------------------------------Gate 2------------------------------------ Objectives: Eliminate the 4 paytron guards. Kill Suav Kill prisoner Get to the alter. Paramiters: None special abilities needed: No Summon Items: Spear on Paytron guard Bracelet on Suav UBER SWORD NO ONE CAN USE....on suav.(to heavy) Dirk on prisoner Enemies in gate: Wolfen, tiger man, eldikorks, Paytron warriors. Like a remnant of gate 1 really, but alot more vast, and confusing really. Make your way all south till you pass by some city gates. Continue south from there, then go 3e2s till you see ^^ symbols, enter that area and make sure to watch for alot more enemies. Run like heck to the end of it till you find a locked door, and a corpse. loot it for a key, (and race back to the begging to avoid any unwanted attetion) to get out of this place, reverse your steps back to the beggining, and type Ent 1. (it will put you back outside) Then find that same gate you passed by earlier. Unlock it, and enter, then quickly lock it to keep others from entering. This place is safe somewhat to regen in just stay away from the warriors. When your ready, tour the city, to get your bearings. Then go to each corner of the city, and go up to find a paytron guard. they are easy to kill, and arnt sanced.(one of the Rare enemies in lab to have not been blessed with sanc) they dont use magic, but are in !magic rooms/tunnel rooms. Once they are dead, go back to the city gates and go 2es and get a key from the wooden chest. then go back to the city gates again and go 5e open door south, unlock door w. then get vial shelf. (this will be used to blow up the rubble infront of the library). now go back to the city gates and go 3se and type "put vial rub" and quickly move 1w to avoid getting hurt by the explosion. then enter the library, and go all east and type get all book. you will teleport to a hidden bookcase under the one you were just at. get a book from the hidden bookcase, and then get the key from that book. leave the library, and go back to the city gates one more time. from here, go all east till you pass four sets of runes on a door. in this dead end room, unlock the trap door under your person, and prepare for the hardest hitting lab mob in the game. Suav hits hard for one reason...the UBER SWORD he uses. expect to be hit around 75-90 dammage per hit(not sanced) and when you flee, he has 2 diferent flee prog's. one will be, "your body and mind are seard with white hot flames" (or somthing simmiler) this means you just lost a heck of alot of mana. his second prog is a dammage flee prog. "you see a flash of bright white light". although this trig only works around 15-35% of whatever hp you have, so dont attack him till you have at least 40% hp every time.When he dies, loot his corpse for a key, and a good bracelet. Then follow the path that you had unlocked earlier all the way to a cell. this contains a prisoner that was locked up by the paytron guards. Even when you free him, he will suspect you of alerting him to there presance, so he will also fight you as well. He backstabs and has sanc, does scan hunt/reg hunt. kill him to get a seal from him. now make your way back to the outside of the city, past the gates, and go 4s and look for the ^^ symbols again. enter this fimmiliar area, and make your way to the stone door again, and type "put seal ind" to open the door, and then obtain your soul stone from the alter. ----------------------------------Gate 3---------------------------------- Objectives: kill Xazid Kill the Tytan's in a specific order Wound Maunish Kill White Dragon maunish Paramiters: None Special abilities needed: PFC Items: key on corpse key on xazid Crown on xazid tunic from white dragon Dragon ring from white dragon soulstone from white dragon follow this curvy path till you hit a dead end. the idea behind this part is that there are 3 riddles on the walls of 3 dead ended rooms then when answerd correctly port you to another small secluded path to do the same thing over again. luckly no enemies will deter you in any of these 3 areas. say moon, then folow another path, say fire, follow the third path, and say shadow. once this is done, you will port one more time to another room. go 2u1d and fight and kill a Raven who can blind you. (this will keep him off you you in a later part of the zone. go 3u to find yourself in a Blizzard. this place will confuse you very badly, and to top it all off, there are 3 snow wyrms roaming this vast calamity of chaos. so drop 1 coin right now and go wewes as you will need to find a frozen corpse and loot his key. (junk the note, as you wont need it),now kill the 3 wryms. this will take time. now, Xazid is hiding in a hidden snowdrift. it wont be visible, so what you will have to do is find it. go either ewewew, or ewewess or ewewesse or ewewessee (these are the 4 random locations i have found where he manages to relocate at) and type ent snow, to fight him. repeat this till he dies. (he will some times pop out of nowhere to attack you, so be vigilante). Xazid altogether isn't that bad, but does desecrate and dispel, so watch your hp at all times. he will also pop out of nowhere to attack you once you flee, so wait till he stops doing that to regen peacefully. when he dies, get his key and get back to that coin you dropped on the ground. then from there go 2nwe2sesne to another area and unlock the door. ok, once you unlock the door, you will see a tytan, and possibly a sartan guard. do not kill this tytan, but dispose of the sartan so you will have a safe part to rest in. if you explore this whole area, you will notice it looks like this:(i did this from memory but this should be really accurate otherwise). NW N NE ####### # ######## # # # ## # W###### ###E # ## # # # ######## # ####### SW S SE If so see any switches here, this is uesd to reset the tytans to kill them again, if you mess up the order, otherwise, ignore this thing. Kill all sartens in the whole area, (so they dont wander into your room, and kill you in your sleep:P) to safe regen after each tytan. the order in which they have to be delt with is this: NE - E - S - SW - N - W - SE - NW each tytan does not move, and will dispell frequently, and some times COMPEL you, so flee a few rooms every time.when all 8 are dead, go back to the beggining of this area and go past the locked door beyond the switch you might have noticed. this courtyard is !magic, and the tower as well. follow the path upwards to find Maunish. get him around 70% and he will transform into a FULLY healed White Dragon. this thing will hunt you, so do not stay in one place for to long when regening. when you weaken him to around 70 or 80% this time around, he will flee for the remainder of your attacks. kill him for a soulstone. ----------------------------------------Gate 4----------------------------------- objectives: Kill 9 Dragons (Ivory, Amythest, Pearl, Diamond, Emerald, Topaz, Jade, Sapphire, Ruby) Kill watcher Kill 4 sarten guards paramiters: none Special abilities needed: PFH Items: 1000 coins on dragons 2dam/20hp legs on watcher 2dam/25hp/6acap warrior only breastplate on guards this gate will eat your moves if you dont play it safe. the idea here, is to wander around in each room, till you randomly pick a fight with a dragon. each skirmish leaves you in a 3 !exit room, and the dragons only scan hunt. to safley regen, make sure the dragon is 2 rooms apart from you, and dont sleep. (resting only, incase he comes up when you type scan.) repeat this process 8 more times to unlock a door leading down. find this room with the way down, and keep going down. to will find a dragon statue, but ignore this for now, and keep typing "ent nich" in any rooms going horazontally till you end up in a 3 room area. the watcher is here, is sentinal, and does frequently use Vshround. kill him, and enter the crack in the wall, and get a sprig from a tree. (type get sprig all) then go back to the beggingin and ent the nich again, and go to the statue and put the sprig on the alter.now you will be in the only room that isnt !magic. there are 4 sartans that reside behind 4 doors. focus one guard at a time. they will have 1 of 5 random auras: Blue: halfsanc Purple:(i actually don't know what this does-but it doesn't seem to be threatening, so i guess its just a Null Aura) Green:Absorb Red: Fshield Black: Vshroud there auras change constantly so find the ones that you would rather deal with and kill them first. once all sartens are dead, a door to the south will open, and you can find your soulstone in the pool. (type get soul pool) ---------------------------------Gate 5--------------------------------- objectives: kill all 12 necromancers kill Ranik(for key to asalman) Kill asalman. Paramiters: Fighting Asalman before you get rid of his projections make this fight Nigh Impossible. special abilities needed: phase door items: Boots from ranik (1 dam, Feather fall, Fleetfeet) breastplate from ranik(3 dam 2 acap) Key to asalmans room from ranik 5000 gold and a seprate statue from each necro pertaining to his name.* Robe from Asalman(Hsanc, 12 Pfire, 5-Pwater) enemies in gate: undead sartens they charge and just plain suck in general. tanking them is an option, but fleeing is an even better one. first thing to do is to establish your safe room. when you first start out, look for a Rusty store key, lying on the ground in the area. then go all west from egress and unlock the door to your west and stay in that room. a tall imposing man will do you no harm, and this room is !vio, !mag as well, plus if anything is hunting you you can flee here, till he closes the door on them. now you can take 1 of 2 routes from here on. 1-kill ranik and loot his corpse for his nice eq, and a key to asalman.( he hunts, and charges, plus calls extra guards to his aid, so flee/kill and rest at your leisure) then go 1d east from your safe room to find yourself in what i like to call a Clock Room. treat this area like the twelve spots on a clock and remember: there are twelve necromancers, and they all flee inside of there !key rooms, and port two guards in his spot to kill you, so just phase through the door, and kill it. (they heal somewhat, and have silence, but arnt hard if you can keep at least 2 rooms away from him at all times. each necro area is 3 rooms) after the death of all twelve necros, go back to TIM and either camp for now, or give him each statue SLOWLY!! when you are done, kill ranik for his key to access Asalman. its 1e1u from TIM and then ascend the stairs to him. he has high hp's and hits very hard- plus, he heals everytime you see "you hear wispering among the dead". he also vamp's you around 70% of hp loss as well. killing him nets you your soulstone. -------------------------------------Gate 6----------------------------------- Objectives: Collect the 4 statues Kill the 4 Replica's kill the 2 serpents kill the 7-headed hydra's Paramiters: none Special abilities needed: PFH Items: +2 dam 9 acap, detectevil, protectevil on Green serpent +2 dam 9 acap, detectgood, protectgood on black serpent enemies in gate: Snogs, very annoying, and they pop up when you least expect them to. ok, a vast desert, so your moves will be eaten quite quickly because of this. also there are no safe rooms for the time being, so i would suggest either Drop linking to regen or just never encounter a song. songs are never ending as they will randomly re-apear to make your experience more time-consuming, so only kill one, if you have the hp, and want to regen, otherwise, don't fight them. they do hunt, so watch yourself. your goal here is to kill the four guards neeneenen,nwwnwwnwn,seeseeses,swwswwsws, from each corner of the walls that you noticed when you first came in here. each guard will have a prog that ports you back near the corners of the walls so follow those same dirs to get back to the guards. each guard has a statue you need to put into the corners of the castle. you can Droplink, and camp with these statues, so if you need to regen, drop link, then come back, the guards dont need to be dead in order for you to use the staues. once all four statues are obtained, check the corners of the castle, by typing get all, and you will see somthing like a nitch, or somthing, and in what shape it requiers the statues to be in. once you place all 4 statues in the coresponding niches, a door on the North side of the castle, will unlock, so go into it, and close the door, so nothing will follow you inside of it.now you will need to kill the same enemies that looked like the statues that you put onto the castle ends in order to open a door to a portal to see a green serpent, and a black serpent kill the green one first for a goodie shield, or the black one for its baddie shield. then dispose of the other at your liesure. they both do the same interms of dammage and magicks. when they die, you are ported to a 3!exit room, DO NOT MOVE YET! now type scan, and you will notice 2 7-headed hydras. you will fight 1 head at a time, and when each one dies, another will fight you. each with there own magic spell. kill each hydra at your own will, but remember, the middle room is !mag, so you will have to use the hydra room as your mag room. when both of them die, the last one dead will load your soulstone. Head magic in order: 7th head - black hole - drain essence 6th head - weeping willow - despair 5th head - eyeless head - blindness 4th head - coiled serpent - silence 3rd head - withering frail body - sap strength 2nd head - form of wraith - chill touch 1st head - dark horrer - desecrate -----------------------------------------Gate 7------------------------------------ objectives: get the horn kill all 8 elite coral guards kill the 4 sartan guards paramiters:wear Breath water eq in this whole gate, or else you will drown. special abilities needed: Breathwater this gate is all underwater, so unless you have Breathwater, you wont survive for long. so equip Bwater eq, and leave the rock strewn-branch to find yourself under a Vast ocean. alot of Squids will be wandering around, and they do hunt, so be weary if you do end up in a fight with one of them. they also hunt through anything else you could think of so never go to sleep untill they are dead. get to the bottom of the ocean, and keep typing ent fis to enter a fissure under the sea. (keep moving around the bottom, untill you enter it). when you find it, follow the path till you notice a serpent. these things will trip you, and do it alot. if you see a bubble floating an anyroom that you enter, you can enter it to regen, spell up, and to escape anything that is hunting you. (Note: nothing can hurt you in here, becuase all they do is flee upon entrance) once the serpent is dead, he will reveal a hole in the ground, so enter it, and follow the path to another serpent, and repeat the process over again. once he dies, ent the hole, and follow the path till you find TIM. he hits hard, and occasionally transforms into a serpent. he wont move, so flee killing is a good idea.he does compel stab you. when he dies, type get all alter, to get a horn to use on a ghost. return to the bottom of the ocean and go up 2 and look for a ghost of the herald. use the horn on him, and that will summon 8 coral elite guards. they must be killed inorder to gain acsess to the final part of the gate. they do charge you, and are in random spots all over the ocean (Not counting the fissure).make sure to drop 1 coin in this spot, becuase you will need to come back here when they all die. once they are all dead, open the coral staircase and desend down to the bottom(make sure to close the door behind you, so nothing can wander/hunt you in there. when you get to the bottom, you will notice a bubble, and 4 Coral lords Far east, Far south, Far north, and Far west. they do compel, and dispel you, so flee quickly if needed. use the bubble to regen, spell up, and when all 4 lords die, the last one you kill will load the soulstone on it. also note: if you are a magic user, it would be wise to kill 4 squids for 4 eels. these eels will be used in the beds of each coral lord. this will make there rooms Mag, so you can kill them easier. (the mag room effect is permanant untill the gate resets) -----------------------------------------Gate 8--------------------------------------- Objectives: obtain 7 pages for haroths ballad. complete the story paramiters: none Special abilities needed: No Summon, and Breath Water go 2n and you will see a troubled man.listen to his woes to begin your adventure. once you have been brief'd, its time to kill some druids. list containes the pages in order that is listed on each druid: page 1 is on Rodez and he is 1s1w and 2s from Haroth - beginning of story page 2 is on Tanris and on Meess - bitter cold or raging fire page 3 is on Ingos and it is 1s1w2s3e from Haroth - determines 1st line of enemies. Page 4 is s e s from Ingos is Uskryny - determines trap - flame or ice Page 5 is on Zhabel and is w, all n and up from haroth - determines enemy (giants, warlocks, death knights, assassins) page 6 is on Skelskeo and thats e all n and 2 up from haroth - determine guardian (sylvan, undead, dragon or feral) page 7 is on Chroine who is w, all n, u, 3n, d from Haroth - end of story this is crutial in that you will want to make a poem that is Sutiable for you to be able to do. once you complete the poem, you will be transported into your creation. follow the path till you see a book. read it, and you will transport to a random area and you will have to kill 3 enemies (enemies are baised on what page you put in for it. once they are dead, read the book in the middle of the area, and you will port again. follow the path to another book, and read it. you will port to a strange area (yet again baised on what page you put in). each of these enemies comes in pairs, and you should ONLY focus on killing one of them at a time. they do switchs places sometimes so be weary of this. when one of them dies, the other looses 67% of their hp. (i dont know why, but it does help) also, one room that you flee into, either is a Firewall room, or an Ice wall room. so entering, or leaving it does hurt you alittle.(never rest in here, rest in the same room as the book is in, as none of the twins move. when they die, read the book and you will end up in a 4!exit room fighting any ancient race creature.they do not move and you must kill them in order to read the last book, to port to the queen. she will give you a soulstone. -----------------------------------Gate 9------------------------------------- objectives: give items to namegi that he requiers kill the iornwood stag. Kill namegi paramiters:None special skills needed: Breathwater Ok, look for Winslow the Castaway, and lure him to a parrot or parrots in the same room. this will make him fight the parrots and you can get free hits on him without actually gettign hit. (He has alot of hp, so this is the best way to get him to die) once he dies, get his key. now kill a sandkrait for his Sand and then go back to the egress, then go 3n and ent cave. Now put on your breathwater eq, and unlock this door. youll see Namegi and youll need to give him the Sand and you will be ported to a 3 !exit room area with a moray eel. kill him and then enter the spikes and you will be in a swamp area. now drop a coin and then seek out the Dream Miser. kill him (he has wall of swords, so he can get annoying) once he dies, look for and kill a vampire for his Vile Dirt. once you have that, go back to where you dropped that coin and go 2nsewnwn2ew3e and you'll see Namegi again. give him the dirt and youll be ported to the cliffs. sleep and wake up in each room in here till you are ported to a Nest. wake up and go 1 down. now you will have to kill EVerything in this nest to pick up an eagle's Egg. when a few of the hatchlings die a male and femal eagle will come around to kill you. (male will arive first, then female) once you have the egg, follow the path down and all the way to Namegi. give him the egg and you will port to the heart of the forest. look for Namegi one last time, and get ready to fight an iornwood stag. kill him and then give the root to Namegi. remember him telling u he has a way to free u from this gate? he does alright, By Killing you. he has fshield and desses, so your only option is to tank/flee him. once he dies, loot his corpse for a soulstone. also note: the ancients that are scaterd around the Heart of the Forest cast random spells on you, so ignore these and never fight stag/namegi in the same room as these guys. killing them is optional, but a waste of time imo. also note: there is no safe spot in the forest-but stag/namegi only scan hunts, so once the move once-teice, you can go to a safe distance and regen as much as you need to. --------------------------------------Gate 10----------------------------------- Objectives: create golem to kill plague dam. Paramiters: NONE Special skills needed: NONE go 3d and learn your objective. then go 1u and look at the sign, so you know how much each part is. each door acts like a potral guardian, once you kill the door, a portal appears, and it will lead to each part of the spiral. the inner, middle, then outer. the deeper you go, the harder it is to get back to the center. and each spiral has its own set of spiralbornes. now part extraction is baised on how a spiralborne looks. to figure out what parts to extract, its best to Look at a spiralborne before you decide which part you want to turn that corpse in for. I.E. if you see a spiralborne with a humanoid head, that means you can kill it for its corpse and bring it back to gaz (guy who makes parts) and give him the nessassary coins/corpse for that head part to use for your golem. now each spiral has body parts you can use, but only one part can be extracted from each corpse, and you only have 4-5 tics once a corpse has been retrived before it will crumble on you. you only need to kill 6 spiralbonres to get 6 parts, but that doesnt mean the gate is done and you got your soulstone, as there is a chance that the plague dam will eat your golem before your golem kills the plague dam. also, the mode deep you go into the spiral layers, the better parts you can get from the spiralbornes. but that means it will get harder to get back to the center. once you think you have the right parts, make your golem and stay in the room after you send it into battle. after a while, you will either see your golem come back to you, and drop your soulstone in the crate, before crumbling, or it will die and you will have to start all over again. Also note: the doors in this gate will not physically attack you, but instead will use the spell called Harm. Also note: when your trying to get back to the Center, its best to kill the same door and enter the portal, and repeat untill your back at the center. ------------------------------------Gate 11------------------------------------- objectives: create a Litany Kill Spydreth paramiters:Dt's span this gate, so use look often. special skills needed:Feather fall, PFH, Breathwater items VS head item from sydreth FS head band (give VS version to gis so he can fix it) 1000 gold on magmus spiders 10000 gold on spydreth ok, youll start off at Giisanders camp. you can get some good info from him before you start your journey. the first thing to do is to kill a magmus spider and make him pelt. bring the pelt to giisander to make a new item. then once you have it, now its time to hunt for spydreth. youll notice tho, when you find him, he will flee and Completly restore all hps after he hits around 85% or more dammage. but as a consolation prize, he will drop some blood for you. bring that blood back to giisander and then you can start killing elementals for there Scrolls. now you will notice 4 types of elements and 3 different verions of elementals roaming this gate. the 3 variations drop 3 different types of offering you would use in 4 different collourd Offering bowls you may also see around in this gate as well. there are 3 different types of offerings: Meager, Humble, and Greater. these are gained from killing a type of elemental. also-each offering bowl will require the Opposing color as an offering. so if your at a water bowl, you would put in Fire offerings, and if your at an Air bowl, you would put in Earth offerings. (the amount of offerings is random, but most say its the equivalent of 6) (Side note: meager=1 Humble=2 and Greater=3) once you give the right offering in your bowl, you will port to a 2 roomed area. you must kill the elemental lord for his scroll. (note: they may also drop an Elemental core of there selves, keep this as its an auto matic Full offering to the Opposing offering bowl for another lord) once all 4 lords are dead and 4 different scrolls in hand, go back to giisander and give em all to him, then you can obtain the Litany of Quintessence. now you will have to find spydreth again, and weaken him down to between 72%-80% dammage (going above 80% makes him dissapear and regen back to full)and then Recite the Litany on him, this will port you to his Realm. now Dont move once you do this, and regen if you need to. then when your ready move around till u see him again. Now you can finish him off, and when he dies, loot his corpse for a soulstone. ------------------------------------Gate 12----------------------------------- objectives: give a white gem stone to charkgnib for a Clock workpiece kill the monstrous purple worm for a Clock workpiece Kill Atlas for a Clockwork piece Kill Doom for a Clock workpiece Rescue the ragged prisoner for a Clock workpiece get a piece from the White golem golem Assemble Grandfather clock for a soulstone. Peramiters:The gate resets ever 2 hours and 30 minuets. Each golem is on a 1 hour timer, and each golem has its own timer, till they respawn. special skills needed:No Summon you will start of in a small area. go north and up and talk to Astrayum to learn about this place. then type Terminal to learn about an item you can make. keeping that in mind, go back down and east then enter the entrance to Charkgnib. he will tell you about this gate, and other good info, but his real use is that he can combine any 2 gems into a gem that you require/need. Also it is wise to give him 10000 coins for a bag that can hold the mass amounts of gems that you will acquire. here is a list of what he can make for you Baised on what 2 colored gems you give him: Yellow + Green = Blue Yellow + Orange = Green Yellow + Purple = Red Yellow + Red = Orange Yellow + Blue = Green Orange + Purple = Red Orange + Yellow = Green Orange + Green = Yellow Orange + Red = Yellow Purple + Green = Blue Purple + Red = Blue Purple + Orange = Red Purple + Blue = Green Purple + Yellow = Red Red + Green = Yellow Red + Orange = Yellow Red + Yellow = Orange Red + Blue = Purple Red + Purple = Blue Blue + Red = Purple Blue + Green = Purple Blue + Yellow = Green Blue + Orange = Purple Blue + Purple = Green Green + Orange = Yellow Green + Blue = Purple Green + Purple = Blue Green + Red = Yellow Green + Yellow = Blue giving him all 6 gems and saying combine will make a White gem. (also a good thing to remember is when you need to flee to Rest, come back to this guy. if a worm hunts you, he will kill it instantly with his wand) go down from there, and kill the worms that roam about. when they die, they will load 1 of 6 different gems: green, orange, purple, blue, red, yellow. get at least 5 of Each, before continuing on with this gate. (note killing the worms is a good way to make alot of money, and there easy to kill). when you are satisfied look around the area for Holes. in these holes a Big Purple worm moves about, kill this thing for a Clockwork Piece. (note: if you flee from this fight, the worm will move to any of the 4 holes in the area, so if you type enter hole, and it says there is no hole, he ant in there) when he is dead, get the piece, and go back to the miner. Now you have to make 2 White gems. in order to do this: you must give him 1 of each gem, and he will make a White gem. Do this 2 times and give him 1 of these, so you can get another Clockwork Piece. now, with your gems on hand/in your bag, go back to the egress and go south and down a floor. now you will notice Platinum golems as you move about. they cannot be killed, and block your movement all around. when you enter a room with one of these, Look at them. they should say what type of inset is in their forehead. I.E. whatever color is shown, you would have to junk a Gem of that same color for the Golem to disappear. so if a golem has a red inset on their forehead, get a red gem, and junk it. do this for Every golem you see (note: If you get stuck inside of a golem, and cant get rid of the golem, type "say recall" and the golem will port you Back to the egress, (good tactic if you get cornered by a mob, and need to flee) you will also notice clockwork imps, kill one for a archvolt item, (they can silence u) and keep it for now, as u only need one.after you follow the path to the end, go down twice and Kill Bldpher the clockwork solider. once he dies, get his key, then unlock the door south, and open it, and you will see a chick. Beckon her, and lead her Back to the egress via the south passageway.(imps will block your path, kill them so she can move with u) once you get back to the egress, go north and up, till you see a man. he will Thank you for saving his love, and will reward you wiht a Clockwork Piece. then she will depart for he chambers. now go back to the room above Bldphers, and get rid of the other golems and you will notice the CLockwork mobs roaming around here. Makesure to get rid of ALL OF THE GOLEMS before killing the Clockwork Chimera. he hurts a bit, and when you manage to kill him, he will roar a certain clockwork mob roar, remember this roar, and loot his corpse for the terminal in his body. now with that in mind kill the clockwork that roared and get his terminal as well. then go back to astryum with all 3 parts and givem them to him. he will make a new item you can use later. now go back and Kill all 5 mobs surrounding the area. each death gets you a key, and when all 6 are dead, you will have 6 keys. now look for a door in the North area and open it to find another golem, GIve it the Second white gem, for another Clockwork Piece. now you must kill the Tentacular Doom. to do this, enter the portal to him. He uses No spells, but has the Highest amount of hp in the lab, so expect him to take some time to kill. if you flee from him, you will appear back the same room with the portal, and he wont move, so kill him at your leisure. (Note: if the gate resets and the golem reappears when you flee from Doom, No worries. you can still keep entering the portal to kill Doom, then say recall at that golem to get back to Egress.) once he dies, take your Powersorce to the Colossus you saw earlier and give it to him. it will power up and you will have to kill it to get the clock piece from the capstone (Atlas). once he dies open the stone for the last piece.now that you have all 6 pieces, you will have to go 2s from the Portal to Doom, and type Enter gate, and you will follow a path to the Clock Warden. he will need repair the pieces and make a Grandfather Clock. then he will get a soulstone from it, and give it too you. Soulgive and your Done. Gate 13 - last gate ok, this is the FINAL GATE! (deep breaths) first: kill any mob you see, but be cautious, no safe rooms to rest in, so you must regen on the run. upon each kill, behead the corpse, and keep it. once you kill enough mobs, you will notice all other mobs in this whole area have dissapeared. this means that the dragon wants some of those heads you just got. give him anywhere from 13 to 17 heads to make him fall asleep so you can kill him. but in order for you to get that many mobs to fight, you must enter the curtain in where the dragon stands so the zone will reset. after enough heads are gatherd, he will fall asleep, and has VS on him. kill him before he wakes up. you can do whatever you want to him, but dispelling or desacrating him, does wake him up. once he is dead, you will be in an entirely different area. random enemies will spawn, and they must all be killed. look for a forest clearing, in which you can pass onto a bridge with.your exit will then be blocked. all of these roomes are considerd tunnel rooms at this point. there you will see a chaodyn. this thing isnt hard to fight, but will ressurect itself with in a random amount of times. when it dies, you will be ported again to another room, with the lord of the lab, Arnax. you cannot fight him for now, so you must dispose of his cronies first. after all is dead, go back to him, and answer his questions with these answers: say tigerman chief say prisoner say wolfen say sartan then he will see you unfit to survive anylonger, and wants to kill you. he will erase any thing you seem to make to help you kill him, so you are on your own. some rooms are !magic, but are random at best, so find a mag room to spell up in, and arnax's room isnt !mag either, as he will try to dispell you quite frequently. once he dies, you will port to another area. kill the 2 chaodyns to port to another part of the gate. now you will see TIM again. he doesnt move, but will summon Tinies, or miniture versions of him. all they do is stab, and have the weakest hp ever. so be weary. (Note:tim will be surounded by 4 other enemies, so kill them first so you can regen safely. once tim dies, you will port to the final part of the gate. kill the last bit of mobs here, and ignore arnax till all of the mobs are dead. Final Arnax is a tough mob. he will see your combo and exploite its weakness by casting random spells on himself and you before he fights you. he wont move, so regening is safe otherwise. He desses and does some other stuff, so be weary as this fight will last awhile.one he is dead, he will drop the last soulstone. soulgiving will port you to the Nexus. --------------------------THE NEXUS------------------------- this place is where you will choose your new AR and its starting class, and 2 stats you wish to add a few points too when you make the char. to make the AR: Pray (ancient race, Class, Stat you wish too boost, stat you wish too boost) I.E. Pray dragon warrior str cha. this will give you a dragon warrior with your stats at 19 str, 17 int, 17 wis, 17 dex, 17 con, 19, cha. also note: your charicters starting stats will be all 17's with the 2 boosts, and you can only make a class of the 2 you enterd the lab with. so if you were a wa/pa when you enterd the lab, you can only use either 1 of those classes to start with.
